Go Developer

Andersen is hiring a Go Developer for a project building high-load financial systems and scalable digital platforms supporting real-time transaction processing.

The customer is a global technology company developing a large-scale digital platform that connects millions of users through a mobile application offering various on-demand services. The platform operates in multiple international markets and requires scalable, high-load systems, real-time data processing, and cloud-based infrastructure to support its growing ecosystem of digital products.

The project is focused on developing and maintaining the financial operations platform responsible for trip pricing, invoicing, and settlement processes. It ensures accurate fare calculations, payment flows, and financial reconciliation between passengers, drivers, and the platform ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and improving back-end service functionality.
• Developing new features.
• Conducting code reviews, writing integration and unit tests.
• Optimizing data storage and report generation processes for large volumes.
• Modificating queue usage.
• Developing tools to reduce costs on external APIs.
• Developing country-specific solutions for application use cases.
• Meeting deadlines and participating in development planning in close collaboration with other members of the development team.
• Participating in system design and architectural decision-making together with the team.

Must-haves:

• Hands-on experience as a Go Developer for 4+ years.
• Confident knowledge of MySQL and relational databases.
• Experience in product backend development.
• Experience in developing and designing applications based on microservice architecture.
• Experience with high-load systems.
• Experience with Redis.
• Experience with Kafka, Nats standard protocol.
• Experience in designing and implementing APIs (REST, gRPC).
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (ELK).
• Experience with Docker / Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of build and deployment automation tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Ability to write integration and unit tests.
• Independence, ownership, and ability to work without micromanagement.
• Ability to gather requirements and communicate directly with stakeholders.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with AWS.
• Experience in mobility / ride-hailing / logistics products.
• Experience working in distributed international teams.
• Experience with Prometheus / Grafana.
• Facilitation and decision-making skills in architectural discussions.
