Lawyer

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide sound legal counsel whenever needed.

• Provide legal advice to Senior Management – offer well-researched legal opinions to support management in making informed decisions, particularly when it comes to expansion, investments, or partnerships with third parties. Guide the management team and stakeholders on the legal directions to take.

• Curate and review legal paperwork and documentation that protect and support the Company's interests while adhering to corporate compliance laws. Ensure compliance with all relevant local and international laws, and regulations. Shape internal policies that promote a culture of compliance and mitigate legal risk.

• Draft and review Contracts and Agreements with precision to safeguard the Company's rights and reduce the chance of future disputes. Review contracts received from external parties to ensure legal soundness and alignment with Company interests.

• Resolve legal disputes and representing the Company, lead the charge in resolving disputes through negotiation or legal representation before courts and official bodies, ensuring the company's interests are protected and damages are minimized.

• Improvise and oversee the company policies on legal affairs periodically as the company attorney.

• Undertake and perform in-depth legal research for partnerships, mergers, acquisitions and other transactions

  Oversee junior corporate lawyers, paralegals and other support staff in legal matters.

• Bachelor's degree in law

• 10+ years of experience in corporate law

• Strong knowledge of Kazakhstan legislation

• Proficiency in Russian and/or Kazakh, and fluency in English

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills

• Comprehensive understanding of corporate law

• Ability to work collaboratively as a team
