Business Analyst

Andersen is hiring a Business Analyst in Almaty for a project automating supply chain finance processes and developing scalable digital banking solutions.

The customer is a large financial institution serving millions of retail and corporate clients. It combines a broad physical presence with strong investment in digital platforms, mobile solutions, data infrastructure, cybersecurity, and open integrations. Technology is central to improving customer experience and scaling modern banking services.

The project is focused on automating supply chain finance and factoring processes within a banking environment. It aims to streamline financing workflows, improve operational efficiency, and deliver scalable digital solutions that support end-to-end supply chain financing services.

Responsibilities:

• Eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements; conducting interviews with business stakeholders.
• Modeling business processes (AS-IS/TO-BE); preparing business requirements, functional requirements, and user scenarios.
• Preparing and managing development tasks for the engineering team.
• Participating in the design and review of solution architecture.
• Supporting the development process; participating in testing, solution demonstrations, and functional acceptance.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Business Analyst for 2+ years.
• Experience working in the banking or financial services domain.
• Experience participating in system integration projects.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience preparing and maintaining technical documentation.
• Understanding of system integration concepts and interactions between distributed systems.
• Fluent in Kazakh.
• Fluent in Russian.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Nice to have:

• Azure, Oracle, Microsoft, UiPath, AWS, or Anthropic certifications.
