Fullstack .NET Engineer

This remote position is open for candidates based within Sigli’s hiring regions: Europe, Balkans, Central Asia, Caucasus.

What about the project:

Our client is a Belgium based company, they are developing and enhancing a cloud-based compensatory software platform (also they have other products) designed to promote self-reliance for students with dyslexia, reading difficulties, and other learning challenges. The software offers advanced text-to-speech, writing aids, and tools for improving reading and text comprehension. The platform is used across various educational levels, from primary to higher education, and even within the workplace, supporting users in a fully digital environment.

Stack: ASP.NET, Angular, Browser Extensions API, MSSQL, Azure Services

What you will do:

• Design, develop, and integrate scalable software components and services across the full stack, adhering to internal standards within the .NET ecosystem.
• Investigate, troubleshoot software defects and technical impediments spanning functionality, system performance, ensuring reliability and continuity across the product.
• Actively participate in the review and evaluation of solution design documents, providing technical insight and advocating for maintainable approaches to system architecture.
• Participate consistently in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews and demonstrations, and retrospectives, contributing to team transparency and product quality.

What you bring:

• 3+ years of experience building scalable applications using .NET Core, with a solid command of its core features, runtime behaviour, and established best practices.
• Proven hands-on experience delivering frontend solutions with Angular or React, or Vue, paired with strong TypeScript proficiency and a solid understanding of component-driven development patterns.
• Ability to design normalised, efficient database schemas and author performance-optimised SQL queries, with a sound understanding of indexing strategies and query execution plans.
• Solid experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs, with a thorough understanding of API design principles.
• Comfortable communicating effectively in English (B2 level) within a professional engineering environment and cross-functional collaboration with international stakeholders.
