Driver Recruiter (CDL Drivers & Owner Operators)

Shift: 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM
Format: Office-based
Compensation: Fixed salary + high commission
Experience: 1-3 year experience required

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Driver Recruiter to source, screen, and onboard CDL Drivers and Owner Operators. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in transportation recruiting, understands driver compliance requirements, and can consistently attract high-quality candidates.

Responsibilities

• Source and hire Owner Operators and Company Drivers (minimum 5 hires per month);

• Use recruiting channels such as Facebook, Indeed, Craigslist, and other platforms;

• Conduct driver screening, interviews, and onboarding;

• Verify driver qualifications, background, and compliance requirements;

• Build and maintain strong relationships with drivers;

• Keep driver databases and records accurate and up to date;

• Improve sourcing strategies to reduce recruitment costs;

• Communicate professionally with candidates and internal teams.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in driver recruiting;

• Experience recruiting for fleets with 200+ trucks is preferred;

• Strong sourcing skills using Indeed, Facebook, Craigslist, and similar platforms;

• Confident spoken and written English;

• Ability to build trust and maintain long-term relationships with drivers;

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills;

• Attention to detail when managing driver records and compliance documentation;

• Focus on quality hiring and cost-effective recruitment.
