Ad #2 — Lead Teacher, Seedlings (Ages 2-6)

Mulberry Academy is hiring a Lead Teacher for our groups (ages 2-6) on the Nazarbayev University campus in Astana. We're an English-immersion, neuro-affirming early childhood school where neurodivergent and neurotypical children learn together, using Early Childhood Project-Based Learning (ECPBL) and the Mulberry Method™.

Location: NU Campus, Block A1, Astana
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Start Date: August 3 2026
Salary Range: 400,000+

What the role involves

• Leading a small Seedlings classroom alongside a teacher assistant
• Designing emergent, project-based learning experiences that follow children's authentic questions
• Supporting growing independence, social skills, and self-regulation through co-regulation and declarative language (training provided)
• Daily observations, portfolios, and family communication via Brightwheel
• Working as part of a teaching team across the early years

What we're looking for

• Real affinity for three- and four-year-olds and how they learn through play and inquiry
• Strong spoken English (instruction is in English); Russian or Kazakh is an asset
• Experience in early childhood education or a closely related field
• Comfort facilitating rather than directing, and willingness to work within a neuroscience-informed, non-behaviorist model
• A collaborative, reflective approach
