We are seeking to recruit a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Korean Language Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic year, which will commence on 3 August 2026.
Candidates are expected to possess a commitment to creating and managing a caring, supportive, purposeful, and stimulating learning environment which is conducive to children’s learning. Candidates should also be able to adapt to new cultures and environments easily.
Responsibilities:
- Design, prepare, and deliver high-quality Korean language lessons to suit the individual needs of all students;
- Teach and educate students according to their educational needs, abilities, and language proficiency levels;
- Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in the Korean language;
- Use creative and engaging teaching methods to promote interest in language learning;
- Present excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents;
- Support the learning of individuals and groups of students, act as a role model, and set high expectations;
- Observe, record, and support the development and progress of students, providing constructive feedback on achievement and progress;
- Actively contribute to the wider life of the school by organizing and participating in extracurricular and language-related activities;
- Plan lessons according to curriculum requirements and international programs;
- Collaborate with other teachers to share ideas, approaches, and professional knowledge;
- Be an active presence in the school community.
Our requirements:
- Higher Degree Diploma: Korean Language / Education or related field;
- At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in international schools;
- Required professional qualification: Teacher category — Expert / Researcher / Master level (or equivalent);
- Fluency in English is a must;
- Strong knowledge of Korean language instruction and pedagogy;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Strong communication skills;
- High sense of responsibility and flexibility;
