On The Spot Development is a software development company, focused on building R&D teams for heavily invested startups worldwide. We aim to directly сonnect tech talents with emerging tech companies to develop their products — from scratch to unicorn.
About the role
We are looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager who combines strong SEO, content execution and PR skills with an analytical mindset and a genuine interest in building AI-assisted workflows.
This is a first-marketing-hire type of role. You won't be managing a team — you'll be building the foundation: publishing pages, tracking what works, converting organic traffic into leads, researching marketing channels, building partnerships and collaborations and systematically scaling content production with the help of AI (specifically Claude).
You'll have a clear strategy to execute and at the same time the freedom to shape how OTS shows up in search and in the market.
Responsibilities
- Own the execution of OTS's website and SEO content strategy — publish 45+ commercial and blog pages according to a defined production plan, following SEO templates and brand guidelines
- Write and edit high-quality content — service pages, pillar pages, cluster pages, blog articles — in OTS tone of voice; brief and review AI-generated drafts for accuracy and brand fit
- Build and operate an AI-content engine on Claude — set up and refine Claude-powered workflows for content drafting, internal linking, meta generation, and content QA; continuously improve prompt systems and skill instructions
- Own on-page SEO — meta titles, descriptions, canonical tags, structured data (FAQ, JobPosting, Organization schemas), heading structure, internal linking; coordinate technical fixes with the dev team
- Set up and maintain marketing analytics — Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, conversion tracking; build dashboards for organic traffic, keyword rankings, and lead attribution
- Convert organic traffic into leads — optimize CTAs, landing page structure, and conversion funnels; run A/B tests on key pages; collaborate with the BDM/sales team on lead handoff
- Manage SEO tooling —SE Ranking for rank tracking, keyword research, backlink monitoring; report on growth metrics to leadership monthly
- Develop and own distribution channels — identify where OTS's target audience (founders, CTOs, VP R&D) actually spends time and build a presence there
- Plan and manage the marketing budget — propose channel allocation, track cost per lead, run paid experiments (LinkedIn Ads, sponsored content, events) and cut what doesn't convert
- Drive brand visibility at industry touchpoints — identify conferences, directories, award programs, podcasts, and communities where OTS should be present; own the submission and participation process
Requirements
SEO & Content
- 5+ years of hands-on SEO and content marketing experience (B2B preferred)
- Ability to write clear, structured, persuasive English copy without heavy editing support
- Solid on-page SEO fundamentals: keyword placement, heading structure, internal linking, schema markup
- Familiarity with technical SEO basics (crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals) — enough to brief a developer
Analytics & Conversion
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console
- Ability to build simple dashboards and interpret organic performance data
- Understanding of B2B conversion funnels and lead attribution
AI & Tooling
- Active daily user of Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools in a content workflow
- Demonstrated experience building AI-assisted content pipelines — not just prompting one-off pieces
- Comfort with structured prompting, iterating on prompt systems, and evaluating AI output quality
- Experience with SEO-tools
- Webflow experience or a clear willingness to learn it — you'll be publishing pages directly, not handing off to a developer for every content update
Mindset
- Self-directed: comfortable owning a project from strategy to published URL with minimal hand-holding
- Detail-oriented: catches a broken canonical or a missing FAQ schema before it goes live
- Builder mentality: interested in creating repeatable systems, not just completing individual tasks
- Fluent English (written) — content is published on a site targeting US, UK, and Israeli audiences
Nice to have
- Experience with Figma or basic design skills — able to prepare simple visuals, edit banners, or brief a designer clearly
- Familiarity with B2B IT services, software development outsourcing, or staff augmentation markets
- Experience with Claude API or prompt engineering beyond chat (custom instructions, workflows, structured outputs)
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge (enough to inspect and fix markup in a CMS)
- Experience building content for a company expanding from 10 to 50+ pages — you've been through the messy middle
