Purpose of the Role
The Product Manager is responsible for the development, management and positioning of the Company's product portfolio, continuous improvement of existing products, successful launch of new products and categories, and supporting sales through effective product management and promotion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the product portfolio, including launching new products, adapting international brands for the local market, and phasing out obsolete products.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities and customer needs.
- Optimize and modernize the product range through identification and evaluation of new suppliers, as well as managing product introduction and component transition processes.
- Identify product gaps and areas for improvement and develop recommendations to enhance product performance and competitiveness.
- Prepare product specifications in cooperation with Quality and Production departments.
- Develop and adapt packaging, labels, user manuals and warranty documentation.
- Create price lists, align profitability targets and build product pricing architecture.
- Prepare product training materials and presentations for the Sales team and provide product expertise to sales managers.
- Participate in the development of marketing materials, including catalogs, website content and other promotional tools.
- Prepare analytical reports and documentation within established deadlines.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role (Product Manager, Brand Manager, Marketing Specialist) within a manufacturing company, preferably in the building materials or construction products industry.
- English proficiency sufficient for business correspondence, understanding and preparation of presentations and reports.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Results-driven with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Advanced user of modern business software, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Reporting Line
The Product Manager reports directly to the Marketing Director.
