As part of our rapid global growth, we are looking for a Mobile Phone Testing Engineer to join our team and help ensure the highest quality standards across our smartphone product portfolio.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in software and/or mobile device testing, with a solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and industry best practices.
3. Strong ability to analyze product requirements, specifications, and technical documentation, and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
4. Hands-on experience in testing smartphones/mobile devices, including hardware-software integration, functionality, performance, compatibility, and user experience validation.
5. Familiarity with Android OS, smartphone architecture, OTA validation, and mobile application testing is highly preferred.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across R&D, Product, and Engineering teams in a global environment.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to quickly identify, troubleshoot, and document defects.
8. Self-motivated with strong learning agility and willingness to stay updated on emerging mobile technologies and testing tools.
9. Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude and strong sense of ownership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and maintain the testing environment, including smartphone devices, software installation, hardware setup, and network configuration.
2. Execute functional, regression, performance, compatibility, localization, and usability testing for smartphones and related mobile applications.
3. Design and develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product requirements and technical documentation.
4. Conduct hardware and software validation across different mobile phone models and versions to ensure product reliability and quality.
5. Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, and collaborate closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
6. Perform re-testing and regression validation after fixes to ensure product stability before release.
7. Prepare comprehensive test reports, defect summaries, and quality recommendations for project stakeholders.
8. Work closely with global Product, R&D, and Engineering teams to ensure project timelines and product launch milestones are achieved.
9. Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
