Supervises daily Food and Beverage (F&B) shift operation and monitors compliance with all F&B policies, standards, and procedures. Manages day-to-day operations verifying that the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of the customers on a daily basis. Maintains the operating budget, and verifies that standards and legal obligations are followed. Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
The position reports to Director of F&B / Assistant Director of F&B.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manages day-to-day F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, and banquet services, ensuring high quality and adherence to policies
- Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention
- Improves service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed
- Reviews guest comment cards and satisfaction results to drive improvement
- Assists in the ordering of Food and Beverage (F&B) supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms
- Maintains the operating budget, and verifies that standards and legal obligations are followed
- Supervises and leads the team, conducts performance appraisals, and provides training, coaching, and mentoring
- Ensures all F&B areas comply with health, safety, and legal regulations
- Creates and nurtures a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork and passion for providing service
- Develops and updates department-specific SOPs that bridge the gap between the brand pillars and Forbes/LQA luxury requirements
Candidate Profile:
- High school diploma, degree in Hospitality or Business Administration is preferred
- Previous experience in F&B leadership roles, within luxury hotel environment
- Hands-on F&B leader; well-versed in English and Russian/Uzbek
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams
- Knowledge of local liquor laws, food handling, and sanitation standards, as well as POS systems
