Intern/Executive, Fixed Assets

KPMG is seeking a motivated Intern/Executive to join our Fixed Assets Valuation team within Deal Advisory in Almaty or Astana. In this role, you will participate in valuation projects of tangible (fixed) assets, working closely with experienced professionals on a variety of advisory assignments for local and international clients. As part of the Fixed Assets Valuation team, you will:

• Participate in different stages of advisory projects related to tangible (fixed) asset valuations for various purposes
• Communicate with client management and personnel, including participation in site visits
• Conduct industry research and market analysis to support valuation assignments
• Prepare valuation models for tangible assets
• Assist in writing, reviewing, and checking valuation reports
• Prepare client deliverables, proposals, presentations, and other project documentation

You're the perfect fit if you:

• Have higher education (completed or final year), preferably in engineering / civil engineering / technical disciplines, or finance / economics
• Have an understanding of valuation methodologies and approaches to fixed assets valuation (a plus)
• Are fluent in English
• Are an advanced user of MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint
• Have strong analytical skills, including numeracy and ability to structure and analyze large datasets
• Have strong research, writing, and presentation skills
• Are a fast learner, proactive team player with good communication skills
• Have relevant certifications (an advantage)
