Deloitte is looking for a Junior Procurement Specialist to join the Internal Client Services Department at the Almaty office.

About the role:

As a member of our team, you will manage procurement categories, enforce policies and procedures, streamline processes, and model the total cost of ownership to get the best value for money.

About the department:

Internal Client Services provides crucial support for our company's principal activities. Recruitment and training, finance and accounting, brand and business development, IT support. These are just a few functions performed by teams in our department. ICS specialists understand the needs of the business and are ready to solve the most urgent and important tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for major controlled procurement categories, analyze such categories
  • Select an optimal supplier network
  • Hold tenders in accordance with company compliance rules and procurement policies
  • Negotiate with new and current suppliers to adjust prices
  • Regularly assess current suppliers and their operations/performance
  • Supervise teams from various departments during tenders
  • Provide stakeholders with regular reports on tenders’ progress and results
  • Sign contracts with suppliers and key partners of the company

Requirements for the candidate:

  • Higher education
  • Mastery of MS Office
  • Experience with procurement systems would be an advantage
  • High level of self-organization and reliability
  • Analytical mind and business acumen
  • Customer focus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Russian and English
