X-Cart is an international product company in the e-commerce space. We build a platform for online stores used by tens of thousands of businesses worldwide, with a strong presence in the US, Canada, and the UK.
While our platform supports e-commerce across multiple industries, our primary focus today is the automotive aftermarket where we are actively building a specialized ecosystem around data, integrations, and partnerships.
We are looking for a Partnership / Business Development Manager to help us grow and strengthen relationships with key players in the market. This role is about building long-term partnerships, identifying new collaboration opportunities, and turning connections into meaningful business impact.
You will work with international partners, including platforms and services such as Amazon, eBay, PayPal, Stripe, Mailchimp, as well as automotive-focused partners across the ecosystem. Internally, you’ll collaborate closely with product, marketing, sales, support, and operations teams.
This is a fully remote role, and you can work from anywhere.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing partners (including technical and integration partners).
Own day-to-day partner operations: manage requests and escalations, coordinate client–partner workflows, and drive timely resolutions across Sales, Support, and Product – ensuring a consistent partner experience and measurable outcomes.
Identify and develop new partnership opportunities in the automotive ecosystem (catalog providers, distributors, platforms, agencies, etc.).
Act as the main point of contact for partners and make sure collaboration is smooth, productive, and mutually beneficial.
Evangelize X-Cart within the automotive space: represent the product, educate partners, and drive awareness.
Work closely with internal teams (Product, Sales, Marketing) to align partner initiatives with business goals.
Spot growth opportunities within existing partnerships and help expand them over time.
Facilitate partner onboarding and ensure partners are set up for success.
Help structure and improve partnership processes, playbooks, and strategy.
Track key partner metrics and suggest improvements.
3+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or relationship management.
Fluent English (C1+), both written and spoken, with confidence in leading meetings, presentations, and partner communication.
Strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build trust and credibility with partners.
Naturally outgoing and open-minded, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at different levels.
Proactive and self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership. You don’t wait for direction and know how to move things forward.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building structure where none exists.
Organized and capable of managing multiple partnerships and priorities without losing focus on what matters.
Able to think strategically about long-term partnership value and growth, not just short-term wins.
Confident negotiator, able to handle complex or challenging conversations
Results-oriented, focused on driving measurable impact rather than just managing processes.
Comfortable working with international partners, especially US-based companies.
Experience in e-commerce or SaaS.
Familiarity with the automotive aftermarket (or strong interest in learning it).
Experience working with integrations, platforms, or technical partners.
Background in ecosystems like Amazon, eBay, Shopify, BigCommerce, etc.
