Study Abroad Manager (менеджер по образованию за рубежом)

About the role:

We are looking for an Education Consultant/ Study abroad manager to join our office in Almaty

The manager will be working closely with students and their parents interested in higher education OR masters in USA, UK, UAE and EU, to provide professional advice and services for university, major and country selection including initial consultation on countries and programs, program proposal, application management and processing (to obtain university or school offer letter), visa support and pre-departure information.

Study abroad manager will be the main point of contact for clients/schools during the entire application process and in some cases will be supervising students even after their departure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in working with people and educational organizations from USA,UK, UAE, Canada, European universities, colleges and language schools. Apart from working with students, part of this role is to participate in events and education fairs to attract new students, partners and promote the services/products offered by Be Global. The manager should be able to follow company strategy and able to achieve targets and goals;

Requirements and Skills:

• preferably native speaker of Kazakh language, fluent Russian and advanced level of English;
• good presentation, sales and communication skills;
• ability to travel for business trips within cities of Kazakhstan 4-5 times a year, ability to travel overseas for professional trainings and university visit business trips (1-2 times a year);
• 3+ years of professional working experience in educational organizations, study centers, international department of a local or foreign university, or other related industry;
• bachelor’s degree or post-graduate degree in teaching, education, sales and marketing, business administration, economics etc;
• study abroad experience (bachelors or masters, flex programs etc.) is highly preferred, but not required;
• ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, students, parents, foreign partners and other members of the public of all age groups and social backgrounds;
• service-minded, good personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills and desire to work in a progressive and achieving team of industry professional;
