We are looking for a Senior BI Developer with strong MicroStrategy experience to join a project focused on building a unified marketing analytics layer across commercial, digital, and social data.
The focus is on semantic modelling, dashboard development, and translating data into actionable business insights.
What you will be doing
- Design and build semantic / logical data models in MicroStrategy
(facts, dimensions, hierarchies, aggregations) - Develop interactive dashboards and reports:
- Implement business-critical KPIs:
- Enable drill-down and self-service analytics for business users
- Work closely with marketing stakeholders to translate business questions into data insights
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and Analysts to ensure data consistency and accuracy
What we are looking for
- Strong hands-on experience with MicroStrategy
(Dossiers, Reports, Metrics, Attributes, Filters, Prompts)
- Solid understanding of BI and data modelling concepts
(dimensions, measures, hierarchies, aggregations) - Experience building business-facing dashboards, not just visualisations
- Good SQL skills (data validation, ad-hoc analysis)
- Ability to translate business needs into analytical solutions
Nice-to-have
- Experience with marketing analytics / digital marketing data
- Familiarity with Snowflake or Google Cloud
- Experience with other BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
