About the Role

As a Team Lead in Platform/Cloud Engineering at Johnson & Johnson, you will lead a dedicated team of individual contributors, driving strategic initiatives and operational excellence in Yandex Cloud platform management. You will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of cloud solutions on Yandex Cloud platform, managing resources effectively, and serving as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders. Your will ensure the successful delivery of critical cloud services, compliance with policies, and continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

· Manage a small team of individual contributors, conducting effective performance management.

· Allocate resources and assign tasks to meet team and organizational objectives.

· Unblock issues and support team members to achieve their goals.

Strategic & Operational Planning

· Develop and communicate tactical and operational plans for the Cloud Engineering team.

· Create programs milestones, manage risks, and ensure launch readiness aligned with business priorities.

Program & Project Oversight

· Collaborate across teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

· Review pull requests, manage grooming of JIRA stories, and follow up on approvals (TQ, Security).

· Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) and testing for non-standard requests.

· Manage networking changes, requests, and cloud-specific components.

Cloud Infrastructure & Security Management

· Track and manage cloud quotas to optimize resource utilization within Yandex Cloud.

· Design and implement new components of the CLOUDx Yandex setup.

· Manage IAM requests, security approvals, and ensure compliance.

· Review end-user architectures and troubleshoot critical issues.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

· Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding cloud operations.

· Review and unblock issues related to end-user requests and architectures.

· Manage end-user technical queries and facilitate smooth communication.

Compliance & Governance

· Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and compliance standards.

· Monitor performance, workflow, and operational metrics to meet goals within timelines and budgets.

Qualifications & Skills

· Proven experience in cloud platform management, preferably in a leadership role.

· Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

· Strong understanding of Yandex Cloud infrastructure components, security protocols, and networking.

· Experience with cloud security tools such as Zscaler.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

· Proficiency in JIRA, SNOW, and other project management tools.

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

· Certifications in Cloud Computing (e.g., Yandex Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent).

· Experience working in a regulated environment with compliance standards.
