Ensuring uninterrupted, secure, and efficient technical service for DeFacto stores and the Kazakhstan Office within the area of responsibility by responding promptly to recurring and urgent support needs.
Implementing plans, policies, procedures, and instructions related to store information technology operations management.
Performing required information technology activities during new store openings, renovation projects, and store closure processes.
Managing internet infrastructure for new stores (VPN, ADSL, Camera ADSL, 4.5G Mobile), including network setup, configuration, and monitoring. (Ability to use RJ45 crimping tools is required.)
Installing POS cash register systems (NCR, IBM, HP, etc.) and coordinating the transfer of product and pricing data.
Ensuring the installation and functionality of computer systems, handheld terminals, printers, VPN, and camera modems in new stores; directing faulty equipment to authorized service providers and following up on repairs.
Providing technical training and end-user support services in line with the operational needs of retail teams.
Managing and remotely monitoring systems such as background music, camera systems, people counting solutions, LED screen media management, kiosks, and similar technologies; executing necessary technical support and problem management processes.
Completing all Information Technologies processes for newly opened stores and ensuring they are fully ready for sales operations.
Completing Information Technologies processes for stores undergoing renovation and preparing them for resumption of sales activities.
Resolving requests escalated by the Service Desk team through the Store Help Desk portal within a maximum of 8 hours.
Monitoring inventory management, stock tracking, and asset assignment (embezzlement) processes for procured devices.
Continuously improving technical knowledge and skills through training programs and hands-on work experience.
Personal & professional skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology or a related field,
Excellent command of written and spoken English; knowledge of Turkish is a plus,
At least 1 year of experience in retail store processes
Experience with POS / cash register systems such as HP, NCR, Toshiba, etc.,
Knowledge of networking, operating systems, and peripheral devices (printers, barcode scanners, handheld terminals, LED screens, etc.),
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to work as a team player,
Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to provide effective end-user support,
Customer-focused with strong interpersonal communication skills,
Dynamic and adaptable to flexible working hours,
Willing to participate in team training and open to knowledge sharing.
