About the role
Meloc is Georgia's leading smart lock brand, now entering Uzbekistan. You will be the first hire in Tashkent — responsible for building sales from zero, owning partnerships with real estate developers, and running day-to-day operations. This is not a corporate job. You report directly to the founder.
What you will do
- Drive sales of smart lock products to apartment owners, Airbnb hosts, and residential developers
- Identify and approach new residential construction developers in Tashkent for bulk supply partnerships
- Manage leads through a simple CRM (Google Sheets), follow up persistently, and close deals
- Coordinate installation appointments with the technician
- Run the Meloc Tashkent Telegram channel and respond to inbound leads on social media
- Send a daily activity report to the founder and join a weekly video call
- Handle basic inventory tracking and stock management at the office
Who we're looking for
- English fluency is mandatory — you will work directly with a founder based in Georgia
- Strong Russian — most customer conversations will be in Russian
- 1–3 years of sales, business development, or account management experience
- Self-starter: you don't wait to be told what to do — you find the next lead yourself
- Comfortable with tech products and smartphone apps — you must be able to demo a smart lock confidently
- Local Tashkent network is a strong advantage, especially in real estate or construction
- Uzbek language is required
What you will not like about this role
- There is no large team or support structure — you build it
- Reporting is daily and non-negotiable — the founder tracks progress closely
- Base salary alone is modest — high earners here earn through commission
