Certification & Customs Specialist

Responsibilities:

The role will be responsible for managing certification processes, preparing and coordinating all required documents for customs clearance, reviewing technical drawings and product specifications, and interacting with government authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth and legally compliant import/export operations.

1) Manage equipment certification

- Control certificate audit timing for all equipment (EAC, CIS Asia countries)

- Seacrh for certification agency in Kazakhstan for EAC

- Initiate contracts with certification body

- Manage yearly certificate audit for EAC

- Conduct plant audit (EAC: every 5 years, Uzbekistan: every 3 years)

- Preparation for plant audit

- Attend plant audit with certification body

- Certification issue by certification body

- Payment of costs

-Support certification for other OEMs which KCA is not in the sales route (KMT, KGM, KIM)

-Support certification related questions from OEM

-Check and grasp certification rules for all countries of KCA territory

2) Regulation management

-Seach regulation related information and movement in all countries of KCA territory

-Meeting with state departments to follow new law/rules

-Convey Komatsu stance regarding regulation through Eurobak (European Business Association of Kazakhstan)

-Management of GTIN (Global Trade Item Number), NTIN (National Trade Item Number) for equipment

- Check and register correct number in 1C

3) Electrical Technical Passport for equipment (Kazakhstan)

- Collect and input all necessary information for Electrical Passport for equipment

- Solve errors about registration system

4) Marketing Support

- Provide technical input and documentation support for marketing initiatives

- Assist in preparing product-related materials that require certified technical data

Required experience:

HARD skills:

-Preparation and submission of certification documents
-Full package preparation for customs clearance procedures
-Import/export documentation management
-Knowledge of technical drawings and product specifications
-Interaction with government authorities and regulatory bodies
-Strong knowledge of import/export legislation and customs regulations, laws
-Experience in certification processes and regulatory compliance

- Excel, PowerPoint, 1C experienced user

- English language fluent speaker (B2 level).
