GCR Transformation - Technical Lead (Manager)

We are looking for a GCR Transformation – Technical Lead to take ownership of the technical automation agenda within GCR.

This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys designing and scaling practical automation solutions in close collaboration with tax and accounting teams, translating business needs into robust and scalable technical outcomes.

What You will do

• Own and drive the technical side of GCR automation initiatives, from idea to implementation and adoption

• Proactively identify and propose new automation opportunities, including AI based solutions and agents

• Design, build and enhance data workflows to automate:

• data collection and preparation
• OCR and document processing
• data cleansing, mapping and validation
• calculations, reporting, dashboards and control procedures

• Administer and support automation platforms and environments, including:

• servers and virtual machines
• Alteryx Gallery (user access, workflow execution, deployments)

• Act as a technical point of contact for users:

• collect feedback
• continuously improve existing solutions
• deliver user training and practical guidance

• Coordinate with regional IT teams on incidents and enhancements; provide Level 1 technical support where required.

• Support software procurement, approvals and risk management processes related to automation tools;

• Track automation results and present impact and progress to leadership

What we are looking for

• A mindset of ownership, problem solving and continuous improvement

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Modeling or a related field

• Strong hands on experience with Advanced MS Excel (including VBA and macros), Python and SQL, ETL / data transformation processes

• Experience with Alteryx, SAP, 1C or similar ERP systems is a strong advantage

• Ability to communicate confidently in English with regional IT teams (calls, emails, documentation)
