Lead Civil & Structural Engineer

Requirements:

- Education: Civil engineering

- Experience: 7 years + civil & structural engineering, Oil&Gas sector

- Fluency in English

- Atyrau 5/2

The duties of the Lead Civil/Structural Engineer include

• Responsible for all aspects of Civil, Structural, Architectural and Building Services on a Project.

• In conjunction with other Staff within the Group, preparation of material cost estimates and manhour budgets.

• Review of Manning level and forecast Manning level.

• Allocation of Staff to specific tasks and functions within the Project.

• Progress reports, Manhour Reports at prescribed intervals for the Project.

• General and technical supervision of all aspects of the Civil Engineering and Design within the Project.

• On a daily basis, circulating within the Civil Group of the Project to spot review the quality and production performance of the Designers and Draughtspersons.

• Discussing any deficiencies in the content of the work being prepared. Comment on or make any other observations on the work being set to individual Civil CAD Operators, Draughtspersons and / or Engineers.

• Maintaining discipline in timekeeping, presentation and industry of the Individuals within the Project.

• Maintaining close technical contact with other Design section

• Preparing the initial Project "Engineering and Drawing Status Report"

• Preparing manhour estimates for the Civil Group's Work Scope.

• Monitoring and controlling the use of manhours on the Project

• Reviewing constantly the Work Scope for changes or additions and raise of Client Project changes

• Preparing a Project Close-out Report at the end of a Contract. The report contains, but is not limited to, total number of Drawings against Manhours used etc. complete with a concise narrative

• Helping Planning Group with development of Schedules.

• Establishing of program for production of Designs and Drawings and the required manhours.

• Establishing Manpower requirements for preparation of Drawings and assessment of performance and abilities.

• Controlling of quality and production of Designs and Drawings.

• Maintaining proper records and filing system for the Project.

• Ensuring the co-ordination of all Civil / Structural Engineering Personnel with those of other groups
