Commissioning Engineer (Electrical, Automation, Instrument & Telecom)

Position: Commissioning Engineer (Electrical, Automation, Instrument & Telecom)
Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer specialized in Electrical, Automation, and Telecom systems to oversee and validate the installation and integration of critical infrastructure during the 2026 TAR. This role requires technical leadership, rigorous safety standards, and the ability to manage complex fiber and control system cut-overs.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field.
Experience: Proven experience in offshore or large-scale oil and gas commissioning (Kashagan/Karabatan experience is a significant plus).
Skills: Proficiency in fiber optic splicing validation, OTDR testing, and automation logic troubleshooting.
Availability: Must be available for a 28/28 rotation starting May 2026.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Oversight: Supervise the installation of cable trays, cabinets, and patch panels to ensure compliance with engineering designs.
System Validation: Lead the testing and commissioning of control cables (multi-conductor), CAT 6, and Fiber Optic networks.
Quality Control: Oversee terminal block replacement and rewiring projects, ensuring zero defects before system energization.
Fiber Management: Direct the resplicing of existing fiber patch panels and ensure the integrity of new fiber installations.
Documentation: Maintain accurate commissioning logs, loop folders, and red-line drawings.
