The main purpose of this role is to ensure excellent execution of the activity pipeline in the CEA OE, in line with the regional business strategy and following the project management process.
The role will facilitate the PMR, DMR, and feeder meetings and serve as a copilot to sales and marketing functions to ensure QuEST process governance is reflected in decision-making on the portfolio, sales, and promotional activities.
Beyond this, the position will be involved in driving critical activities and taking ownership of continuous improvement initiatives within the OE.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Activity management for Pet Nutrition CEA:
- As a copilot to the demand organization, the role is a source of expertise and ensures adherence to activity-related principles, processes, and tools, including QuEST, PPM, and portfolio simplification.
- The role leads the allocated OE activities and is responsible for delivering them with excellence and in line with the defined Best In Class execution standards. This typically includes completion of the market feasibility throughout QuEST, leading ATG’s where appropriate, initiating Market FIT on time, ensuring the project team strives for project synergies within the CEA OE, and delivering timely market warehouse delivery as well as consideration of minimizing pack and finished goods NQCs.
PMR and DMR facilitation:
- Facilitation of PMR, DMR, and SalMa (OneDemand feeder) meetings.
- Providing a vision for planning activities for 3 years horizon.
- Synchronization of the local process of managing marketing activities across sourcing units.
- Continuous improvement of the process by identifying gaps and redesigning the process to align with S&OP+, as well as global and regional operating methods.
- Risks and opportunities management for sales and marketing building blocks.
Supports the portfolio optimization, activity pipeline synchronization and simplicity agenda:
- Identifies sources of non-value-adding business complexity in portfolio deployment needs.
- Identifies opportunities for synergies across activities (e.g., resources required, deployment complexity, drive scale, minimize NQCs).
- Brings recommendations and flags risks and opportunities to key feeder meetings and/or S&OP+ forums.
What are we looking for?
- Higher Education Qualification or relevant experience;
- 3-5 years of business experience;
- Functional qualification in project management (preferable);
- Experience in planning/supply chain/project management is beneficial;
- Structured ways of working;
- High level of proactiveness and willingness to take responsibility;
- Fluent in English (written & spoken);
- Good knowledge of MS 365 tools.
