Data Analyst (Junior–Middle)

A major international service provider specializing in logistics, warehousing, distribution, and sales center management for direct sales companies invites a Data Analyst to join the Data Warehouse & BI team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing key corporate data, developing analytical and operational reporting, as well as monitoring, identifying, and resolving data quality issues 📊.

You will work within a global structure with direct reporting to management in Cyprus. The work format is office-based (hybrid format possible after the probation period). Office location: Almaty 📍.

🔧 Data Analyst Responsibilities:

• Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
• Providing quality assurance of imported data.
• Processing data and information according to guidelines.
• Assisting in developing reports and analyses.
• Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
• Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
• Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
• Generating reports from single or multiple systems.
• Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
• Commissioning and decommissioning data sets.
• Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.
• Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.

🎓 Data Analyst Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and ability to create scripts for data manipulation and query optimization.
• Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. • Strong experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
• Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills ✉️.
