The Customer Service Specialist acts as the crucial connection between the Company and the Distributor, focusing on achieving logistics objectives within the supply chain and maintaining strong customer relationships.
This role is responsible for:
Efficiently planning and coordinating deliveries.
Reviewing customer orders.
Analyzing inventory levels and finished goods requirements.
Ensuring the timely availability of finished goods and Point-of-Purchase (POP) materials in the distributor's regional warehouses.
Logistics and Order Management:
Develop and maintain robust logistics processes.
Analyze and process monthly customer orders, ensuring alignment with Country Demand through interaction with the demand planner.
Provide recommended order quantities to the Distributor and align volume and execution schedules with the Customer.
Execute finished goods shipments and monitor inventory replenishment at the distributor level.
Manage the distribution and control of POSM (Point of Sale Materials) deliveries in collaboration with the Retail Marketing team.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Maintain and control key logistics performance indicators, particularly Case Fill and On-Time rates.
Prepare monthly reports detailing key performance indicators.
Timely tracking of document workflow and maintaining CS&L primary documentation for Financial Controlling.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Service Provider Management:
Ensure effective interaction and cooperation with all organizations across the supply chain, sales, and the Client to achieve maximum results.
Maintain high-quality, effective working relationships with 3rd party transport and warehousing partners to ensure timely and qualitative delivery of finished products.
Control and coordinate the work of transport and warehouse operators.
Process logistics invoices from service providers and submit them into the e-purchase system.
Manage claims with service providers and control compensation processes.
Collaborate and interact with Regional Managers and Supervisors to achieve overall organizational business goals.
Process Optimization and Compliance:
Participate in the assessment of alternative country supply chain networks, focusing on cost and business process optimization.
Directly participate and assist in the development of operational procedures for the CS&L department.
Participate in monthly meetings for future period activity planning.
Strictly adhere to all established company Procedures and Policies.
Utilize the SAP program effectively within the logistics department functions.
