We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Shopify Administrator with 5+ years of hands-on experience managing multiple Shopify storefronts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, optimization, and performance of multiple Shopify stores.
This role will work closely with Project Management, Marketing, E-commerce, and Technical teams to enhance customer experience, support new store launches, manage app integrations, and ensure operational stability and scalability of the Shopify ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Shopify Store Management
- Administer and maintain multiple Shopify stores across different brands and regions.
- Configure store settings, including payments, shipping, taxes, markets, domains, and localization.
- Create and launch new Shopify stores from initial setup to go-live.
- Manage themes, layouts, navigation structures, and product catalogues.
- Oversee user access, permissions, and security best practices.
App & Integration Management
- Research, evaluate, test, and implement Shopify apps and third-party integrations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to apps, APIs, and system integrations.
- Coordinate with developers and vendors to resolve bugs and performance issues.
- Ensure integrations with ERP, WMS, CRM, payment gateways, and marketing platforms function efficiently.
- Maintain documentation of integrations and configurations.
Customer Experience & Optimization
- Work closely with Marketing and Project Management teams to enhance site usability and customer journey.
- Implement new features and functionality to improve customer engagement.
- Monitor site performance, uptime, and speed optimization.
Reporting & Analytics
- Generate reports on store performance, sales trends, and operational metrics.
- Use Shopify Analytics and third-party tools to provide insights and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting
- Conduct thorough testing before launching new features or stores.
- Perform regression testing after app updates or theme changes.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues impacting customer experience.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Shopify stores.
- Proven experience managing multiple Shopify sites simultaneously.
- Experience launching new Shopify stores from scratch.
- Strong understanding of Shopify Admin, Shopify Markets, and app ecosystem.
- Experience testing and troubleshooting third-party Shopify apps.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and Liquid (technical literacy required).
- Experience working with APIs and integrations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Preferred:
- Experience with Netsuite is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP or OMS integrations.
- Experience working in an international or multi-brand environment.
- Experience working in Agile or structured project management environments.
