Job Summary:
The Supervisor of Corporate Communications Department is responsible for leading and coordinating all corporate communications, public relations, and event management activities of the Company. The role ensures consistent brand messaging, high-quality internal and external communications, effective media relations, and flawless execution of corporate and business events.
The position involves managing a team of 8 specialists, overseeing multiple communication projects simultaneously, and acting as a key point of contact between management, media, partners, and internal stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Corporate Communications & PR
- Develop, coordinate, and implement corporate communication and PR initiatives in line with the Company’s strategy
- Prepare and oversee press releases, official statements, speeches, internal announcements, and corporate content
- Ensure consistency of messaging across all communication channels
- Support crisis communications, including preparation of official statements and coordination with management
Media & External Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media representatives, journalists, advertising agencies, and external partners
- Coordinate media coverage, interviews, press briefings, and official events
- Monitor media landscape and analyze coverage to assess communication effectiveness
Event Management
- Plan, organize, and supervise corporate events, business meetings, conferences, ceremonies, and celebrations
- Ensure high-quality technical execution of events, including audiovisual setup, LED screens, sound systems, presentations, and live streaming
- Coordinate with IT, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure smooth event delivery
Digital & Internal Communications
- Oversee the creation and management of digital and social media content
- Ensure timely and effective internal communications across departments
- Supervise the preparation of presentations, visual materials, and corporate publications
Team & Project Management
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 8 communication specialists
- Distribute tasks, set priorities, and monitor performance and deadlines
- Manage multiple communication projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, timelines, and alignment with business goals
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Higher education in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or event management
- Proven managerial experience, including team leadership and project coordination
- Fluency in Kazakh, Russian, and English (written and spoken)
- Strong experience in media relations and working with journalists
- Excellent writing and editing skills (press releases, speeches, corporate communications)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong understanding of technical and IT tools used in events and communications (LED screens, multimedia systems, presentations, sound systems, live streaming)
- Ability to coordinate with IT and provide basic technical support during events
