Juru is looking for an energetic and motivated Protection & Control Engineer for our Engineering Design & Management Business Unit. You will work on a wide range of IPP-based projects, including dedicated generation substations for PV plants, wind farms, and CCGT/Hydrogen plants, as well as designing HV/EHV utility substations across Central Asia.

Key responsibilities:
- develop protection and control schemes for 35-500 kV substations;
- prepare basic and detailed design documents, including protection schematics, wiring, and logic diagrams;
- develop design criteria, equipment technical specifications, datasheets, and BoQ for both brownfield and greenfield projects;
- perform protection coordination studies, develop relay settings, and establish protection philosophies for 35-500 kV systems;
- perform sizing for CTs and VTs for protection and metering devices;
- coordinate design activities with clients, stakeholders, and vendors;
- review work done by peers and act as a mentor to lead junior engineers.
Key requirements:
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field;
- 5+ years of experience in engineering design of substations up to 500 kV;
- Deep understanding of IEC 61850 (GOOSE, MMS, SV) and its implementation;
- Strong working knowledge of GOST standards, PUE, and international regulations;
- Understanding of instrumentation commissioning and test procedures;
- Expert proficiency in CAD applications;
- Solid knowledge of SCADA and Emergency Control Automation systems;
- Experience in Digital Substation (ЦПС) design is a significant advantage;
- Proficiency in Eplan is a strong advantage;
- Skilled user of MS Office and Google Workspace;
- Good command of English and Russian, both written and verbal;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills;
- Well-organized, diligent, and able to deliver results under high pressure;
- Team-oriented with the agility to learn new skills and tools.
