The Team Lead of Business Relations is responsible for establishing, coordinating, and expanding business relationships with international finance and business representatives. The role focuses on engaging potential AIFC participants, presenting AIFC opportunities, and fostering connections to increase the number of AIFC-regulated companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement business unit strategies to achieve strategic goals and KPIs.
- Drive AIFC’s mission of attracting financial institutions and regulated businesses.
- Oversee and guide team activities to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments.
- Conduct outreach in international markets, identify business opportunities, and build relationships with intermediaries and financial institutions.
- Generate leads in target regions for regulated financial services firms and global companies.
- Support investor outreach for non-financial sectors as needed.
- Collaborate with Participant Support and Marketing teams to attract strategic investors and institutions.
- Plan and execute international events, delegations, and business trips.
- Represent AIFC at industry events, conferences, and seminars.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes, providing insights to senior management.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and reports for stakeholders.
- Maintain CRM systems and internal databases, ensuring accurate reporting.
- Contribute to resource planning and team capacity building.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance in documentation.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by senior management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, International Business, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or Law. Master’s degree preferred.
- 5 years in finance, business development, consulting, asset management, investments, brokerage, or related fields.
- CFA, Compliance, Risk, Consulting, Finance, or AML certificates are preferred but not required.
- Fluent in Kazakh, Russian, and English. Chinese is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) and CRM systems.
- Leadership, negotiation, cultural awareness, adaptability, strong communication and analytical skills.
