Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
As part of the adidas Market Expansion team in Kazakhstan, the Senior specialist is responsible for achieving sales targets and the strategic development of adidas stores in Kazakhstan and Franchising countries by maintaining a high level of cooperation with current and potential partners, and working with other departments on openings, renovations, store closures, and deadline monitoring.
Key responsibilities:
- Advise the Franchising team on store locations, space planning, and site selection, using data, market analysis, and foot traffic insights to support business decisions.
- Evaluate potential store sites, relocations, and closures, providing clear recommendations and reports to help management make informed choices.
- Manage the ordering of retail fixtures, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with company standards.
- Handle vendor communication, documents, and payments, making sure all fixtures needs are met across projects.
- Track project timelines, store opening schedules, and key milestones using Smartsheets tool.
- Identify potential delays or risks in project schedules and work with relevant teams to keep projects on track.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, approvals, budgets, and invoices for reporting and auditing purposes.
- Prepare regular project updates, dashboards, and reports for management, highlighting progress and upcoming tasks.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Franchising Partners to ensure smooth store openings/relocations/renovations.
- Continuously improve processes for project tracking, procurement, and store setup to make operations more efficient.
Requirements:
- Completed higher education
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Advanced skills with analytical platforms like Power BI
- Negotiation skills would be a plus
- Upper - Intermediate level of English is a minimum
- Basic knowledge of procurement
