Senior Contracts Manager (Astana 5/2)

Responsibilities:

• Manage EPC, FEED, and engineering contracts throughout the project lifecycle, from execution to close-out.

• Provide contractual and commercial advice to project, engineering, procurement, and construction teams.

• Lead change management, including evaluation, negotiation, and approval of variations, claims, and extensions of time.

• Support and lead commercial negotiations with contractors, suppliers, and partners.

• Identify and mitigate contractual risks, ensuring compliance with company policies, laws, and industry standards.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and report contractual status, risks, and key issues to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Economics, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in contract management within pipeline construction, oil & gas, or energy infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience managing EPC, FEED, and engineering contracts for large, complex projects.
• Strong background in change management, claims handling, and dispute resolution.
• Demonstrated success in leading high-value negotiations.
• Familiarity with international standard forms of contract (e.g., FIDIC or bespoke EPC contracts).
