Middle AI Engineer

We are building an AI platform that accelerates the Software Development Lifecycle by leveraging AI agents, automating routine engineering work, and empowering developers with intelligent tools. This work is part of an R&D initiative focused on solving complex, non-trivial engineering problems and turning emerging ideas into production-ready solutions.

You’ll join a highly senior team where experimentation is encouraged, boundaries are minimal, and new technologies are explored as they appear on the market. What you'll do:

• Architect and implement data preprocessing, embedding, and retrieval pipelines for dynamic, context-aware insights in user sessions and product workflows.
• Build, refine, and optimize retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems using top LLMs and retrieval frameworks to deliver relevant, actionable information.
• Develop and maintain Node.js and Python APIs to efficiently serve AI-driven insights to React-based frontend applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data engineers to conceptualize and iterate on intelligent features boosting user experience and engagement.
• Prototype, validate, and deploy high-impact features rapidly with tools like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini for fast learning and value delivery.
• Design automated evaluation frameworks, including model benchmarking, regression testing, and continuous improvement pipelines.
• Work with DevOps and data teams to deploy and scale AI services in cloud-native environments (e.g., Fly.io, Supabase, Kafka, ClickHouse).

What you bring:

• 3+ years in software development (backend or full-stack).
• Strong proficiency in Node.js or Python for building APIs and integrating with React frontends.
• Experience architecting data preprocessing, embedding, and retrieval pipelines (RAG systems with LLMs like OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini).
• Hands-on work with multi-agent orchestration (LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen) and AI tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex).
• Skills in automated evaluation frameworks (model benchmarking, regression testing, continuous improvement pipelines).
• Deployment experience in cloud-native environments (Fly.io, Supabase, Kafka, ClickHouse) and collaboration with DevOps/data teams.
• B2+ English for communicating with English-speaking clients.
