Senior QA Engineer

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join one of our projects in Limassol, Cyprus, focused on building digital solutions for the commercial side of the shipping industry. As we scale, we are seeking a talented and proactive teammate who knows how to build and execute testing strategies, establish quality standards, and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement QA workflows, release policies, and acceptance criteria from scratch.

• Test complex business logic, including financial calculations, transactions, and role-based models, beyond UI-level testing.

• Validate data using SQL, test REST APIs with Postman, and analyze server logs to localize and diagnose issues.

• Act as a technical partner to developers, helping identify root causes across backend and frontend components.

• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to clarify requirements, business logic, and task priorities.

• Propose architectural and process improvements and drive quality-focused initiatives.

• Mentor and upskill junior QA team member, fostering best testing practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of QA experience, preferably in Fintech, B2B SaaS, or products with complex business logic.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong technical skills, including basic to intermediate SQL knowledge (joins, data integrity checks, grouping), and proficiency in API testing (e.g., Postman).

• Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and drive improvements.

• Adaptability and willingness to work in new domains or unfamiliar areas.
