Database Migration Expert

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Migration Expert to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing database migration projects, ensuring seamless and efficient transitions from legacy systems to modern database platforms including cloud solutions.

• Development and implementation of database migration solutions.
• Supporting users conducting migration projects with the help of our company's products.
• Participating in meetings and business communications with our customers.
• Participation in end-to-end service projects for database migration.
• Participation in design and development of new migration products.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of proven experience as a database/sql development or similar role.
• English speaking and writing skills (B2 or above).
• Practical skills in working with any of the RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience in database design including writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers.
• General understanding of database design, objects and architecture.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Active approach to problem identification and resolution
• Exposure to presales activities and solution design
• Ability and desire to grow.

• Knowledge or Certification in Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience in working with Linux based operating systems.
• Knowledge of programming basics (JAVA, C#).
• Knowledge of algorithms basics and data structures.
• Experience in optimizing SQL queries.
• Basic knowledge of administering one or several DBMSs.
• Work experience with JIRA/Confluence.
