Mid to Senior BI Developer

We are Omadli Group, a Boston-based data analytics and AI company. We are looking for a Mid to Senior BI Developer. This role starts as a part-time, project-based engagement focused on delivery. Based on performance and business needs, it can evolve into a full-time position.

• Working Hours: 5 PM – 2 AM Tashkent Time
• Engagement Type: Project-Based to Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a Mid to Senior BI Developer with strong SQL and Power BI skills. This role starts as a part-time, project-based engagement focused on delivery. Based on performance and business needs, it can evolve into a full-time position.

Working hours are fixed from 5 PM to 2 AM Tashkent time.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries
• Design and manage data models and ETL workflows
• Validate data accuracy against source systems
• Optimize Power BI models, relationships, and refresh performance
• Implement Row Level Security and access controls
• Work with stakeholders to clarify requirements and KPIs
• Document report logic and assumptions

Requirements

• 3 plus years of BI or analytics experience
• Advanced SQL using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server
• Strong Power BI skills, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
• Experience with large datasets and data integrity
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Clear written and spoken English
• Availability during required working hours

Nice to Have

• Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Python or scripting experience
• Power Automate or workflow automation experience
• Version control experience such as Git
• Experience defining business metrics and KPIs
