Logistics claim manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inbound damage handling processes, including claim preparation, documentation, and follow up with relevant stakeholders.

• Coordinate with Logistics Service Providers and suppliers regarding damage investigations, claims, and settlements.

• Review and process credit notes, ensuring accurate cost allocation and alignment with accounting requirements.

• Verify invoices and transportation-related documentation received from Logistics Service Providers to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.

• Review outbound transportation reports for invoicing purposes on a regular basis.

• Coordinate periodic reconciliation and agreement of operational and financial reports with Logistics Service Providers, including deliveries, returns, disputes, and additional transportation services.

• Monitor freight orders in the Transportation Management System, ensuring correctness of costs, rates, and shipment data.

• Maintain and update transportation rates and tariffs in the Transportation Management System in accordance with approved agreements.

• Support dispute resolution processes related to transportation costs and service deviations.

• Conduct regular warehouse audits in accordance with the 5S methodology and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Experience in logistics and general understanding of supply chain operations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• English language skills are preferred.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Strong sense of responsibility and reliability in task execution.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Good organizational and time management skills.
