Contract Engineer

UET CONSTRUCTION is looking for a Contract Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, contractors, and suppliers

• Assist in preparation of tender documents, RFPs, and bids

• Ensure contract documents match technical specifications, scope of work, and schedules

• Manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, from award to project close-out

• Monitor compliance with contract terms and obligations

• Handle contract variations and change orders

• Identify and analyze contractual and commercial risks

• Review and certify payment applications and invoices

• Support resolution of claims and contractual disputes

Requirements:

• Higher education in Engineering or a related field

• Experience in contract management within construction or engineering projects

• Understanding of contract terms, commercial, and cost control principles

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

• Ability to work with documentation and deadlines
