IT System Administrator Linux

We are looking for an experienced IT System Administrator Linux to join our IT Team.

In this role you will be responsible for operating the core infrastructure of BMW Group Russia and acting as a local project manager, as well as providing practical support to local and centrally managed IT infrastructure.

Working Schedule: Hybrid (4 days in the office, 1 day - remote).

What awaits you?

- Operating the core infrastructure of BMW Group Russia
- Establishing the IT security according to BMW AG policies and local regulations
- Provides 2nd and 3rd level user support for IT infrastructure related topics
- Supporting network and server infrastructure for BMW Group Russia
- Supporting and operating the BMW Group Russia datacenters (internal and external)
- Supporting business projects with infrastructure solutions
- Ensure compliance within company standards, policies, financial regulations and IT infrastructure safeguarding responsibilities
- Contact with local service providers for support and troubleshooting
- Initiates improvements for internal processes
- Implement new IT solutions

What you should bring along?

- 10+ years working experience in IT
- Good communication skills
- Expert knowledge in Linux (Debian-like preferred)
- Good knowledge in network
- Good knowledge in IT infrastructure management (server, network devices, storage)
- Good knowledge in Virtualization Systems (Proxmox as a plus), Backup Systems
- Good knowledge in monitoring system (Zabbix)
- Experience in Network & IT Security Infrastructure (Proxy, Firewall)
- Experience in Microsoft Server services (AD, DFS, ADFS) as a plus
- Experience in MSSQL, PostgreSQL as a plus
- Basic Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM (IT Infrastructure Library/IT Service Management) process standards
- English language skills (B2)
