DevOps & Security System Administrator (HIPAA, Healthcare IT)

EMSIT is an international BPO company (Business Process Outsourcing) providing comprehensive outsourcing services for businesses in the U.S. market. We build and manage remote operations teams across administrative & customer support, e-commerce operations, healthcare/medical billing, IT & technical support, and back-office services.

EMSIT is currently in an active launch and scaling phase, building its own IT infrastructure and security framework in compliance with international standards, including HIPAA requirements for U.S. healthcare projects.

Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Systems
Build and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure).
Configure servers, virtual workstations, and operational environments for agents.
Implement and support CRM systems, telephony platforms, and other operational tools.
Provide technical support for both office-based and remote teams.
Security & Compliance
Implement and maintain HIPAA compliance across infrastructure and access management.
Configure network security, including VPN, MFA, and RBAC.
Manage employee access permissions and identity controls.
Monitor security threats and respond to incidents.
Prepare infrastructure for security audits and compliance reviews.
DevOps & Automation
Basic setup and support of CI/CD pipelines (as required).
Automate deployment and configuration of working environments.
Manage data backup systems and recovery procedures.
Monitor infrastructure stability, performance, and reliability.

Requirements
Professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, System Administrator, or IT Operations Engineer.
Practical understanding of HIPAA requirements or experience with related compliance standards such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
Strong system administration skills:
Linux / Windows Server environments
VPN, MFA, and Active Directory / IAM
Basic DevOps tools experience:
Docker
Git
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Experience with cloud platforms: AWS and/or Azure.
Ability to design secure working environments for operations teams.
English proficiency at B1+ level or higher.

Nice to Have
Experience in healthcare, FinTech, or BPO environments.
Previous work supporting call center or distributed service teams.
Participation in security audits or compliance assessments.
Hands-on experience with SIEM tools or security monitoring systems.
