The elevator pitch of the role
As a Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in executing the account plan for Key Accounts in Beverages& Sweet Goods. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with key accounts and B2B customers, driving our capabilities across multiple applications for Food Service.
Position for maternity leave replacement
Responsibilities:
- Manage key existing customers (Bev&Sweet Goods) in Russia & Belarus, hunt for new ones. Deliver sales growth and margin targets.
- Develop a commercial strategy: identify business opportunities, decision factors, success criteria and define action plans accordingly
- Build the account sales budget annually, monitor sales and profitability versus objectives.
- Maintain and develop a successful working relationship throughout customers organizations. Establish dsm-firmenich as a key partner
- Get a clear and complete briefing from clients. Manage the project pipeline and secure a high hit rate
- Negotiate with clients commercial terms and conditions
- Efficiently communicate with all internal partners: product life cycle management, demand planning, customer care and supply chain to ensure the highest customer satisfaction and maximum value extraction
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Food Technology / Commercial / Marketing
- 2+ years working experience in Food Ingredients/FMCG
- Business acumen (pricing, sales & profitability, expenses, overdues...)
- Ability to develop strategic plans, define, prioritize and implement action plans
- Opportunistic with “hunter” mindset and agile in a complex matrix organization
- Self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in Russian and English
- Digitally savvy & computer literacy
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally, up to 2-3 days per week on average for client and internal purpose
- Driving license (corporate car will be provided)
