MEP Site Engineer (plumbing, HVAC, fire fighting)

Place of work - Yerevan, Armenia

Duties and responsibilities:

• To get acquainted with project design with PM. To analyze and define project tasks and aims. If necessary to clarify and adjust design issues together with project designers;
• Pre installation activities: to get acquainted with BOQ, technical specifications, design technology and operator requirements, guidelines. To clarify all issues with project designers and conduct all activities so as to get ready for installation start up. If necessary to prepare BOQ;
• To introduce/explain and discuss technical tasks to different field foremen with relevant drawings on daily basis;
• To monitor and revise all installation activities several times during a working day in order to ensure all tasks are implemented properly and proficiently and everything complies with design requirements;
• To react on non-standard situations requiring design change, foremen question clarifications, all technical inquiries from main contractor;
• To discuss and approve all design changes occurred from architects, discipline clashes etc. with project designers. To implement changes in drawings and corrected tasks to installation groups. If necessary to apply for/recommend master schedule change;
• To assist in achieving monthly completion goals. To revise and endorse quantities for monthly completions;
• To check quality and compliance of the material delivered on site;
• To give instruction to relevant teams for the proper integration of delivered dismantled equipment (for instance AHU pieces etc.). To instruct and/or prepare situation plans (chiller and boiler rooms, FFS pump station, Water treatment etc.) for proper allocation of the equipment in the technical and public facilities;
• To define together with foremen team additional works and prepare BOQ and related drawings for variations;
• To check and ensure that all technical data of the delivered equipment and material comply with project design;
• To conduct all startup and commissioning, flushing activities of the equipment and all piping in order to prepare and hand over fully and properly operational system;
• To follow all technical procedures required by guideline and prepare technical data sheets for hand over;
• To participate in meetings and mail correspondence.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical);

- 5 + years’ of MEP experience (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting Systems).

- Russian - Advanced.
