Project assistant (German-Uzbek project)

Specific task description – Project assistant

• Support of the project management at the location Tashkent (daily office work, monthly billing activities with contracting authorities etc.)
• Administrative tasks
• Simple Accounting and book keeping of the project, strong exchange with the relevant accountant of AFC. Support of Invoices to BMEL and GFA
• Support of the preparation and supervision of the missions of international Short Time Experts (STE) (Hotel, travel planning etc.)
• Support to the Team Leader and the team with preparation and implementation of project activities (forums, workshops, meetings)
• Responsible for public relations, e.g. design and supervision of a Website; digital media and social networks. Active networking and presentation of the project (visibility)
• Assistance with translation and interpretation services within the project activities
• Support in preparing presentations
• Travel to the project regions if required
• Support to the Team Leader with project reports (analytical data on the participants at the project events, monitoring and analysis of the participants’ feedbacks)
• Support to the team leader in preparing the reports to the donor: collecting all relevant data related to events, trainings, PR measures, official meetings etc.

Requirements:

- experience as project assistant/procurement manager/junior accountant

- good command of English (working language), Russian, Uzbek (corespondence in Uzbek required), average level of German will be a plus

Working conditions:

- office work, paid overtimes, rare business trips. Project tasks till April 2027.

- salary from USD 1500 per month, direct contract with foreign employer in Euro.
