Main Responsibilities:
Work closely with the account team, channel team, and service team to expand the Datacom market and ensure sales targets are met.
Address customer needs, including organizing workshops, Proof of Concepts (POC), bidding, and preparing quotations for Datacom product solutions.
Identify and manage Datacom leads and opportunities across key industries, aligning solutions with customer requirements and business goals.
Build and maintain relationships with technical decision-makers and project teams at customer organizations to support Datacom product adoption and implementation.
Assist in organizing Datacom-related marketing events such as product workshops, webinars, and industry seminars to promote product offerings and capabilities.
Provide customized Datacom solutions based on customer requirements, particularly in networking, routing, switching, and WLAN technologies.
Actively promote and demonstrate Huawei Datacom solutions through workshops, product presentations, and other customer engagement activities.
Represent Huawei Datacom products at marketing events, industry forums, and trade shows, delivering compelling presentations to potential customers.
Foster continuous, effective communication with customers to maintain healthy relationships and ensure customer satisfaction with Datacom solutions.
Serve as a Datacom expert, providing technical support, guidance, and network insights for major Datacom projects across various industries.
Responsible for creating and presenting technical documentation and solution proposals during customer workshops and professional forums.
Prepare product solution quotations (configuration) and manage the bidding process, including responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs).
Analyze customer business objectives, strategies, and technical requirements, and develop appropriate cost and revenue models for Datacom solutions.
Identify new business opportunities in vertical markets such as government, railways, energy, finance, etc., focusing on Datacom solutions such as routing, switching, and data center networking.
Lead discussions with customers on business cases, providing strategic and technical insights for pre-sales and project discussions.
Provide technical consultation and product information to the sales team, ensuring they have the necessary tools to successfully sell Datacom solutions.
Actively contribute to team building, sharing professional methodologies, and ensuring the solution team is well-equipped to succeed in the Datacom market.
Job Requirements:
Datacom Technologies Knowledge: Strong understanding of Datacom products such as routing, switching, WLAN, and related technologies.
IT & Networking Expertise: Solid understanding of server, storage, cloud, and networking technologies and their applications in corporate environments.
Market and Product Management: Experience in Datacom product management, including understanding the market landscape, competitor analysis, and solution positioning.
Solution Positioning: Ability to analyze and position Datacom solutions in the market and adapt to customer-specific needs.
Certifications: Preferred certifications in Datacom/Networking (e.g., Huawei HCIP/HCIE, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, etc.) or experience in related technology competitions.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or above in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence customers, stakeholders, and internal teams effectively.
Strategic & Analytical Abilities: Ability to think strategically, perform market analysis, and develop actionable insights for product development and sales strategies.
Presentation Skills: Strong presentation and public speaking skills to effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences at events and customer meetings.
