 Responsibilities
  - Plan, design, create programs and oversee the successful execution of drilling, completion and workover operations for oil and gas wells.
- Generate technical specifications for drilling and completion equipment.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of drilling, completion and workover rig equipment and tools.
- Work closely with exploration and geology team to determine the optimum completion designs.
- Develop plans and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Ensure that all operations comply with environmental regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Monitor field drilling operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify potential hazards and address them to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to drilling operations.
- Perform cost analysis and budget management for drilling and completion projects.
- Manage and supervise rig crews and contractors as required.
 
 Requirements
  - Bachelor's degree in petroleum or mechanical engineering, well engineering or geology.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in oil or gas drilling, completion and workover operations.
- Ability to perform engineering calculations (pressures, weights etc.).
- Written and verbal proficiency in Kazakh, Russian and English languages.
- Strong understanding of drilling and workover operations, equipment and tools.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work in remote or harsh environments.
- Ability to travel to various work sites as needed.
- IWCF or IADC Well Control Certification within the last 5 years. If well control certification is expired the candidate will be required to successfully renew their certification within the first 3 months at the Company’s expense.
- Experience in working with Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience with additional software including Casing Design, Directional Planning, or related well design applications is a plus.
