Working together with the Business Development and Product Management, the Sales Manager is responsible to achieve on-going sales growth and meet specific sales and profitability targets in the defined customer Region by selling the full portfolio of products and services. Responsibility for the direct line management of 1 to 5 sales representatives.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Develop expertise and deliver ongoing sales growth and profitability targets by selling the full portfolio of products in the defined customer Region.
- Define, agree and execute the sales activities for all customers in the Region by working in a safe manner at all time when delivering company objectives.
- Manage any sales representative with less than 2 years sales experience such that after 2 years the individual is able to execute all the major responsibilities without day-to-day support
- Manage the Region resource to deliver customer service plans, ensuring the level of knowledge of the service team satisfies the customer needs, meets all internal & external EH&S and quality standards.
- Report to the General Manager the progress of sales activities within agreed timelines
- Develop a solid pipeline of opportunities within the Region to meet specified sales growth and profitability targets
- Plan and implement a price rise strategy across the customer Region
- Provide sales forecasts, sales upgrade and other specified data to the General Manager within defined timelines
- Develop customer relationship activities, including sales channel partnership (distributors)
- Ensure the assigned service personnel carry out the agreed service activities and provide the necessary verbal and written recommendations to ensure the safe and efficient operation at customer site
- Ensure Company Health, Safety & Environmental policies are implemented at all time on customer sites
- Plan, organize and participate in customer review meetings
Qualifications/Requirements
- Mechanical, Environmental, Chemical Engineering degree or equivalent scientific qualification
- Minimum 7 years sales experience (preferably in industrial sector) and direct sales success across a broad range of Industries, in particular Refinery, Chemical & Petrochemical Plant, Upstream Industry, Power Plant, Steel Mill
- Availability to travel within assigned Region
- Good written and spoken English and Russian, Uzbek
