The Back Officer – Finance is responsible for providing administrative and financial support to ensure the effective, efficient, and accurate financial and accounting operations of the office. This role involves handling financial documentation, data entry, reconciliations, and assisting with reporting and compliance tasks.
Reports to: Finance Manager / Head of Finance
Location: Limassol, Cyprus with further relocation to Zug, Switzerland
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Data Management:
- Enter and maintain accurate financial data on daily basis.
- Prepare, verify, and reconcile accounts and financial records.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Monthly update of integrated investment portfolio report.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Process invoices, payments, and expense claims.
- Prepare customer invoices and follow up on receivables.
- Maintain vendor and client payment records.
- Bank & Cash Operations:
- Perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with treasury activities.
- Securities transfers – preparing transfer instructions, submissions to counterparties (banks), and monitoring of its executions.
- Assist in corporate action processes for portfolio positions.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Assist in preparing internal financial reports.
- Maintain organized financial documentation and filing systems.
- Support audits by providing required financial information.
- Annual application for a dividend tax refund when applicable.
- Compliance & Coordination:
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications & Skills
- Russian and English languages proficient level, German as an advantage.
- EU passport.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a finance or accounting support role.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Strong Excel and data management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Understanding of wealth management processes is an advantage.
- Compliance with internal regulations, policies, and standards, contributing to efficient teamwork.
