We are looking for a Business Analyst who will play a crucial role in driving strategic decisions and operational improvements across departments by leveraging data, systems thinking, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Journey & Process Optimization

  • Analyze student journeys and operational processes across Zerdeli’s online school ecosystem.

  • Identify bottlenecks, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Design and implement streamlined workflows to enhance user experience and efficiency.

• Data Visualization & Reporting

  • Develop interactive dashboards using Google Looker Studio or Power BI.

  • Translate complex data into actionable insights for academic, sales, and marketing teams.

• Advanced Spreadsheet Solutions

  • Build and maintain functional spreadsheets tailored to department-specific needs, enabling better decision-making and operational tracking.

• Business Process Analysis

  • Examine existing systems and processes to uncover inefficiencies.

  • Recommend improvements grounded in best practices and data insights.

• Documentation & Communication

  • Create detailed documentation including use cases, business rules, and process maps.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clarity and alignment in implementations.

• Implementation Support

  • Oversee the integration and testing of new tools and processes.

  • Support staff through training and change management initiatives.

• Strategic Planning

  • Contribute to business strategy through forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.

  • Provide data-backed recommendations to leadership for sustainable growth.

• Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive adoption of new technologies and methodologies.

  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and agility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably within the EdTech or SaaS sector.

• Proficiency with MySQL for querying and analyzing databases.

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker Studio or Power BI.

• Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets, including automation and complex formulas.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience in documenting business processes and supporting system implementations.

• Familiarity with CRM, LMS, or other education-related systems is a plus.

• Fluency in Kazakh and English is required.
