Senior Business Analyst

Qulix is an international IT company with offices in Belarus, Poland, Uzbekistan, and the United Kingdom.

We are looking for Senior Business Analysts with strong conversational English skills to join our Comprehensive Solutions Department.
The project is in a fintech domain.

What you will do

• Elicit, analyze and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Write use cases and user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Model processes (AS IS and TO BE using BPMN).
• Carry out interviews and workshops with customers, clarify scope.
• Produce analysis artifacts: BRDs/PRDs, user stories, business rules, data dictionaries, lightweight wireframes and diagrams.
• Define acceptance tests (example mapping; BDD/Gherkin where useful).
• Maintain a requirements traceability matrix.
• Work with regulatory constraints (e.g., KYC/AML, data protection) in collaboration with Compliance/Legal.
• Collaborate with Engineering/Architecture on API/interface contracts (OpenAPI/Swagger) and technical feasibility.
• Manage requirements changes through a visible change log.
• Keep requirements readiness under control.
• Post-release validation against success metrics.
• Meeting facilitation.

Our expectations

• Degree in IT or Finance.
• 5–8+ years in Business or System Analysis.
• Excellent English communication (B2-C1).
• Crisp documentation.
• Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., IIBA CBAP/CCBA, BCS Diploma in Business Analysis, BPMN, ISTQB Foundation for BA/AT).
• Exceptional listening and structured thinking.
• Ability to simplify complexity without losing intent.
• Commercial mindset; challenges scope and prioritizes on value and risk.
• Calm and collaborative.

Tools

• Confluence/Notion for documentation.
• YouTrack/JIRA for backlog and workflow.
• Miro/Lucidchart/draw.io for modelling.
• Figma or Sketch for simple wireframes.
• Swagger/OpenAPI/Postman for interface specs.
• Basic SQL for working with data.
