Audit Director

Responsibilities

KPMG Uzbekistan is looking for experienced auditors to join our dynamic office in Tashkent:

Professional Skills and Experience:

• Extensive knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Deep understanding of various industries and the specific audit requirements of each.
• Experience in successfully conducting complex audit projects for large clients.
• Knowledge of modern technologies and tools used in auditing.

Leadership Qualities:

• Ability to effectively manage audit teams, motivate and develop employees.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
• High level of communication skills, ability to persuade and negotiate.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to make informed decisions under uncertainty.

Other Important Qualities:

• High responsibility and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a multitasking environment.
• Willingness to travel and a flexible work schedule.
• Advanced level of English.

Key Responsibilities of the Audit Director:

• Developing and implementing an audit strategy.
• Project management and quality control.
• Representing the company to clients and regulators.
• Developing new services and expanding the client base.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Requirements for the Position:

• A university degree in economics, finance, or auditing.
• A qualified accountant certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
• Professional certifications in project management or leadership are an advantage.
• Continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in auditing and IFRS.
